eSolutions MI Explained
eSolutions is a secure web-based Management Information Tool, specifically created in association with Visa Europe and OGC.buyingsolutions to help administer Visa Programmes in the Public Sector.
eSolutions is provided by Purchasing Card Consultancy Limited (PCCL) and has been in continuous development since 2007. eSolutions is trusted by many large and small organisations to provide valuable insight into their Visa programmes.
Transaction Review & Approval
eSolutions is able to import electronic transaction data from any of the Visa Issuing Banks.
Cardholders assigned within eSolutions can then browse through their own transactions to review and amend if required prior to posting into accounts.
Approvers can then verify the cardholders’ transactions.
Reviewed and approved transactions are now reportable within eSolutions or can be directly exported for loading into your accounting system.
Historical data is always available for viewing at a later date.
Costings in eSolutions
eSolutions can be configured to match your organisations costing structure. Support exists for up to 10 distinct levels of costing hierarchy to allocate your transactions to.
Merchant category codes can be directly mapped to your Account / General Ledger / Subejctive codes.
Each individual card in eSolutions can be configured to map to any, or all of your costing areas - with default assigned to the card automatically used when importing new transactions.
Reporting in eSolutions
As well as containing several powerful and useful spending reports by default, eSolutions can allow you to create completely customised reports based on any piece of information within the system.
All reports, custom and default, can then be optionally filtered on various fields.
Custom reports can have conditions set to ensure that only transactions at a particular level or with particular value(s) are returned.
All reports can be downloaded as CSV files for further manipulation within a Spreadsheet package, can be downloaded as PDFs for easy printing and can be scheduled to be run and e-mailed to you automatically at a convenient time.
